Mission, Vision and Values





In 1968, Bridgestone's founder Shojiro Ishibashi uttered five words that described his vision for the company —“serve society with superior quality.” Almost 80 years later, the Bridgestone family of companies keeps this directive at the heart of all corporate activities.

In 2001, Bridgestone formulated a new corporate philosophy centered around this credo. At every Bridgestone company, each individual is charged to strive for excellence.
